There will be no pre-proposal meeting for this RFP. Any contract resulting from this RFP will become effective upon the later of the effective date indicated in the contract or the date that all parties have signed the contract. The expected term of the contract will be three (3) years with the option to renew two (2) additional one-year terms, for a maximum of five (5) years. The University reserves the right to negotiate a modification of contract terms and schedules as necessary. The Contractor must carry applicable insurance and provide an annual certificate of coverage to the Contract Coordinator. The Contractor must comply with all applicable permits and licenses and all requirements of applicable laws, regulations, and standards required for the operation of the software license. The contractor shall provide overnight shipping on parts. The scope of work for the repair, installation, and maintenance of automatic entrance door systems, interior automatic swing door systems, automatic revolving door systems, ICU sliders, and Won door systems. Services entail six (6) areas of discipline: Automatic Entrance Door Systems. The contractor shall provide repair and maintenance on the listed manufacturers below: Interior Automatic Door Systems. The contractor shall provide repair and maintenance on listed manufacturers. Automatic Revolving Door Systems. The contractor shall provide repair and maintenance on listed manufacturers. ICU Door Slider Systems. The contractor shall provide repair and maintenance on listed manufacturers. UH reserves the right to perform testing on the Contractor's deliverables to ensure the accuracy of their VPAT response regarding conformance with the 1TAC 206/1TAC 213 technical standards.
