CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/14/2023 3:30 PM Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances, supervisions, etc. necessary to complete the following work within the limits shown and according to the plans and specifications: 1. Furnish and install flagmen, warning signs, lights and barricades per the traffic control plans and as needed for vehicular and pedestrian safety. 2. The existing anchor bolts project about 2 feet above the foundation. Cut the existing anchor bolts to a workable length and rethread if necessary. Furnish and install stainless steel washers and nuts, as needed, to accommodate the Spring City fixtures. Contractor shall submit a submittal and a sample (returnable) for the stainless-steel washers and nuts. 3. Transport the street light parts to the installation site. 4. Assemble and install the streetlights and all appurtenances. Furnish and install the internal wiring, fuses and fuse holders for the lamps and receptacle and connection to the overhead wire. There shall be one fuse for the two lamps and one fuse for the receptacle. Fuses shall be installed at the base of the pole and be accessible from the hand hole. All exposed wire shall meet the standards for outdoor conditions. Contractor shall submit a submittal and a sample (returnable) for the internal wiring, fuses, and fuse holders. The submittal shall reference the applicable portion of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The City shall furnish 20-amp GFCI receptacles with weather-proof covers which the Contractor shall install. The Contractor shall furnish and install the weather heads and disconnects. The Contractor shall submit a submittal and a sample (returnable) for the weather heads and disconnects. The submittal shall reference the applicable portion of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
