The Work of the contract is defined in the contract documents and includes but is not necessarily limited to: furnishing all labor, material, equipment, insurance, permits, etc. for the work associated with the construction of the performance stage and related civil and electrical work in complete conformance with the contract documents. All work will occur at the 1 Jackson Square City of Batavia, New York 14020. 2. The Site Construction Office, if applicable, will be determined. Each Bid must be accompanied by the deposit of cash certified check, cashier s check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five per centum (5%) of the total amount of the bid in the form provided, and subject to the conditions provided in the information and Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the total Contract award amount. The City of Batavia reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and, all bids. Upon acceptance of their bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract pursuant to the requirements of the Batavia City Council, or fails to give further security prescribed in this notice, within the time limited therein, then the check deposited as aforesaid and the monies standing to the credit of same, shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages, or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the City.
