The Cesar Chavez Park site is approximately 29 acres in land, located at 250 N. Madeira and Circle Drive in the City of Salinas. The project lies within the Special Flood Hazard Zone (Zone AE, BFE 47 feet, NAVD 1988) as noted on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM 06053C0217G). The Scope of Work will require the Consultant to provide an engineering assessment that includes the following: o Evaluate the storm drain system and basins by reviewing record drawings, mapping current conditions (terrain and storm drain system), conduct hydraulic analysis of the system including the discharge points (culverts and outfalls) and provide an assessment report identifying repairs required to the storm drain system and basins. o A cost estimate to repair/restore storm drain system and basins to the intended purpose of stormwater detention and infiltration including any recommended improvements to improve treatment of drainage runoff.
