Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Hartland, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
* Award subject to final approval. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Supply and install warning and clsoure signage as per drawing SK-1 (sign layout for trail bridge closure), in Appendix B .2 Supply and installation of construction access, environmental protection, and safety barricades, as required. .3 Complete the work in accordance with the conditions of approval in the Wetland and Watercourse alteration permit. .4 Removal of the existing bridge approach railings. .5 Stabilization of the northeast bridge approach embankment including excavation of existing materials and installation of new geotextiles, shot rock fill, armour stone and reinstatement of trail surface with crushed rock. .6 Supply and install of new approach railings as indicated on the drawings. .7 Installation of a new timber deck wearing surface and curbs. .8 Replacement of timber bridge railings and recoating of rail brackets . .9 Removal of temporary signage and project site clean-up. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
