Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Harrisonville, Missouri. Working plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
This project is to remodel the existing fire station living quarters starting with the bunkroom/sleeping area. The project will include seven (7) bunkrooms each measuring approximately 8'7" x 7'5". Each bunkroom will have at least one 3'x5" window to the outside. The passageway will include at least one fire exit to the outside, at least one entrance to the kitchen and truck bay areas, and a utility closet on the south end. This phase one will also include one of the two (2) double washroom/shower rooms and an Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compliant single washroom. Phase one also includes one approximately 110 sq. ft. equipment storeroom with entrance toward gear area and one approximately 50 sq. ft. electrical room with entrance toward gear area (phase two). No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after date of opening of Bids. All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the Prevailing Wage Law of the State of Missouri, Missouri Public Law 294, Sec. 290.210 through Sec. 290.340. R.S.Mo. 1969, as amended and prevailing wages as established by the U. S. Department of Labor The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities. irregularities, or informalities therein, to determine which is the lowest and best bid to accept and to approve the Bond. Bid may be modified or withdrawn by written request of the bidder received in the office of the Purchasing/Property Controller, prior to the time and date for bid opening.
