The City of Virginia Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to wave any informalities. The City reserves the right to enter into any contract deemed to be in its best interest. Bidder shall carefully examine the terms and conditions set forth in this Invitation to Bid and any subsequent addenda. Failure to do so shall not relieve a Bidder of an obligation to furnish the goods and/or services specified in this Invitation to Bid and its addenda. Bidder shall check with the Issuing Office within forty-eight (48) hours prior to closing to secure any addenda affecting Bidding. All City of Virginia Beach business license, personal property, real estate and other applicable tax requirements shall be met by successful Bidder. The City reserves the right to procure goods or services covered under this contract from a third party when, in the City sole discretion, it is deemed to be in the City best interest.
