Site work and paving for a road / highway in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Green Bay Board is requesting bids for cold mix wedging and hot oil chip sealing. Easy St - 1125 ft x 20 ft Mercier Rd (54 to Humboldt townline) - 5150 ft total and Project - Stone Pillar Road Repaving - From Sunset Bluff Dr to Edgewater Beach Rd Install 750 feet total of 24' standard concrete curb and gutter, include 4 integral concrete flumes.Backfill curb and gutter and restore with topsoil, and emat - approximately 350 SY. Include rip rap behind flumes - approximately 25 SY. Pulverize the existing asphalt - Approximately 2770 SY. Fine grade, water and compact the pulverized base on an area of approximately 2770 SY. Rubber tire roller must be used for compaction of pulverized base. Construct a two-course 3" compacted average depth hot mix asphalt pavement utilizing WisDOT approved asphalt mix designs on an area of approximately 2770 SY. Construct a 2' crushed aggregate base course shoulder on the remainder of the roadway. Finished asphalt width to be 22' wide with a 2% crown. Bidders are to be prequalified in cold mix paving, wedging and hot oil sealing prior to Friday June 9th, 2023 The Town Board has the right to reject any or all bids and accept the bid most advantageous to the Town of Green Bay, Brown County. ***As of August 23, 2023*** This project has been awarded to Scott Construction. Bid for Mercier Rd. was $32,340.00 Bid for Easy St. was $36,168.00
