Kensington Health is a not-for-profit, community-based model of specialized healthcare services located in Downtown Toronto that pursues the best ways to respond to unmet needs of the community. We have experienced significant growth in program offerings over the past 2- years to meet the needs of the community and to support our health system partners. Individual program areas were each initiated as a unique charitable entity and have been guided by their own formal and informal strategic plans over the years, merging under Kensington Health in 2020. As a result, Kensington Health has never had a single, unified strategic Plan. TIMELINE:
A Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner.
The purposed of the RFP is to engage a third-party vendor with significant experience working with not-for-profits and Ontario healthcare organizations to develop a 5-year strategic plan that will build on the exceptional underpinnings of the organization and set it on a path forward being a true partner for system transformation and providing a model for expansive community=based care that can be replicated in other places across the province and elsewhere. The Strategic Plan may help to identify, prioritization of current resources and service areas at a strategic level. Other service area opportunities based on the Kensington Health expertise and resources. Other geographies where the Kensington Health model could thrive.
