Time for Completion: The term of this contract shall be through February 1st, 2024, with three (3) one-year extensions permitted by mutual agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the Contractors The anticipated start date (when the first Notice to Proceed may be issued) is approximately July 10th, 2023. Liquidated Damages, see Section 13.0 in the scope of work for Dead and Hazard Tree Removal and Site Restoration Standards and Bid Specifications. All residency and SBE requirements have been waived for this project. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: $500. The original bid bond document must then be submitted by the contractor to the Department of Public Works Contract Office in-person or by mail to 841 N Broadway, Rm. 506, Milwaukee, WI 53202, immediately upon being notified that they are the apparent low bidder. All Contractors awarded a contract valued at $25,000.00 or more are required
