**As of July 19, 2023, project was awarded to American Asphalt of Wisconsin, awarded amount is $187,126.16.** As of 06/06/2023 Estimated cost of under $200,000. The Town of Fifield is accepting bids for the following Paving Project: The paving project will include the entire length of Cys Drive from the intersection of Springstead Rd/FR146 to the turnaround at the end of the road. The road must be paved with a WisDOT approved hot mix asphalt that is approved for use on local town roads. The surface must be paved in one layer with a finished surface that has a minimum thickness of 2- inches after compaction. The finished paved surface must have a 21-foot width. Each lane must be paved separately. The slope of the crown must be between 2.5% to 3%. The paved surface of the road must be centered in the existing gravel surface. The entire turn-around at the end of Cys Drive must be paved leaving a 3-foot shoulder. All unpaved driveways must have a paved 12-inch apron the entire width of driveway. Bids must include cost of finish grading of road surface, any watering and compaction of surface and cost per ton for hot mix asphalt. There is a site on Cys Drive that is used as a fill site for the Fire Dept, so water is available near the project.Any questions should be directed to Ted Fleming at 715- 360-1864.
