Renovation of a detention facility in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 450,000-square-foot detention facility.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work includes but is not limited to replacing existing door controls with new, user-friendly vertical/inclined touch screens. Add system redundancy within housing units. Work for this project will be within the secured perimeter. This project will include door controls in 13 buildings totaling roughly 450,000 square feet. The existing door control systems range in age from roughly 20-30 years and are at the end of their useful life. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $3,000,000.00. The PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS MEETING is scheduled for THURSDAY, August 17, 2023, AT 10:00 AM. The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. Applicants now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the project e-builder solicitation folder for instructions regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation. PPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH AN E-BUILDER BIDDING PORTAL.
