Site work for a water / sewer project in Elon, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
** Bid documents must be obtained from Alley, Williams, Carmen & King, Inc. to become an eligible bidder. Utilizing bid documents from another source may result in a disqualified bid. ** The proposed work will consist of the installation of new water infrastructure in the vicinity of the E. Haggard Avenue in Elon, North Carolina. The primary work will include the following items and appurtenances: 1. Installation of approximately 5,175 LF 12" DIP Water, including bore and jack under E. Haggard Ave. 2. Installation of approximately 225 LF 6" DIP Water 3. Installation of approximately 40 LF 8" DIP Water 4. Abandonment of existing 6" and 8" waterlines 5. Connection of proposed waterlines to existing 6", 8", and 12" waterlines and connection to existing domestic services a variety of sizes. 6. Installation of 10" master meter vault and 10" double backflow vault All bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents on file at the office of Alley, Williams, Carmen & King, Inc., Post Office Box 1179 / 740 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27216-1179. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
