Renovation of a municipal facility in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The major work components include, but are not limited to the following: Operations Staff Room 1. Remove one (1) door (NW Wall) a. Remove door, frame, and associated hardware and transfer to Owner for salvage. b. Frame and infill door opening with 1hr fire rated wall and match existing finishes. c. Patch wall base with new to match existing. 2. Install new window between the two (2) rooms a. Remove portion of the existing wall for new window. Verify existing wall construction. b. Re-frame stud wall to create new window opening. c. Install new 8-0 x 4-0 window. 3. Add new door between the two (2) rooms a. Remove portion of the existing wall for the new door. b. Re-frame stud wall to create new door opening. c. Install new 3-0 x 7-0 door. d. Patch wall base with new to match existing. 4. Replace door hardware on existing door per schedule (SE Wall) 5. Reinforce TV wall a. Remove drywall and reinforce frame for four (4) TVs, as noted on the drawings. b. Infill wall opening to match existing finishes.
