This bid is set up for the pre-qualification portion of the bid for Castle Valley Diversion Booster Pump Station - Contract CB-75A General Construction and Contract CB75B Electrical. As such, it does not include an electronic bid form. Once determinations regarding bidders' pre-qualification status have been returned, pre-qualified bidders will be invited to a private bid containing the bid form. Copies of the documents that will become the electronic bid form (RFI and pricing forms) are included with the bid documents for bidders' reference. Bidders are required to submit their Contractor Responsibility Certification Form by 10:00 A.M. prevailing time Thursday, June 22, 2023. Bid Type: Fixed Fee Contract Only pre-qualified Bidders will be able to view the project on electronically after the pre-qualification determinations are returned. The project generally consists of the following: Construction of a new sewage booster pump station within a new cast-in-place vault, including two tap-in connections to an existing sewage force main, piping extensions to and from the pump station, driveway access, electrical service, and controls. Replacement of pumps, controls, and electrical generator at an existing submersible pump station, including building, wet well and valve vault modifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders should review the content of the Contractor Responsibility Certification Form (Document 00 4515) as well as the provisions of the Responsible Contractor Resolution also found in Document 00 4515. Bidders are required to pre-qualify prior to submitting a bid. All Pre-Bid forms shall be submitted to Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority no later than fourteen (14) days prior to when bids are due. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
