The Project consists of the following: Retrofit of an existing stormwater basin to a dry extended detention basin; Repair/replacement of existing basin facilities; Repair and remediation of upstream erosion issues; Installation of new downstream piping and associated facilities; Repair and remediation of downstream erosion issues The work indicated will be funded in part by the Chester County Department of Community Development with partial reimbursement under the Community Development Block Grant Program. The solicitation process, contract and conduct of the work must meet the requirements of the grant agreement between the City of Coatesville (Owner) and the County. The agreement obligates the Owner to certain compliance requirements that if not followed could cause the Owner to not receive the grant proceeds. Bids are to be submitted on the forms furnished in the bid package. All bidders must be qualified to perform the work and shall complete the required Bidder Forms contained in the contract documents. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, however Owner reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law.
