Demolition, site work and new construction of a power facility in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility; for site work for a power facility; and for the demolition of a power facility.
The Bidder will be performing targeted demolition, foundation construction, electrical construction, testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment installed at three existing sites in Hastings NE. The three sites are listed in order of priority: 1. Whelan Energy Center (WEC) 2. East 7th Street Substation (E7) 3. B Street Substation (BST) Target Completion Date WEC No later than June 28, 2024 Target Completion Date E7 No later than August 2, 2024 Target Completion Date BST No later than September 6, 2024 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid of all contract construction costs, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security. The City of Hastings reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may waive any informalities and may accept the proposal which best suits its needs.
