Award amount is $921,613.13** The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans of the construction of 2023 Reconstruction Program - W. Central Avenue located in the Township of Moorestown, New Jersey, including but not limited to 8" CLDIP water main, valves and hydrants, roadway excavation, Surface Course (9.5M64, 2" Thick), Base Course (19M64, 4" Thick), DGA (6" Thick), installation of concrete curb, ADA curb ramp, inlets, traffic striping. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. All bidders and the general public are invited to be present for this bid opening. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed bid forms. One original and one copy are requested. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond. In accordance with P.L. 2021, c. 301 a contractor submitting the lowest bid for a contract that is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, if that bid is 10 percent or more lower than the next lowest bid, to certify to the public body that the prevailing wage rates required by the Act shall be paid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
