Renovation of an educational facility in Irvington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of August 4, 2023, project was awarded, start date is Mid of August and will be completed by end of this year** The Irvington Board of Education is requesting bids for HVAC Upgrades at Augusta Preschool and Florence Avenue Elementary School, Bid-24-006, in accordance with bid specifications, for the 2023-2024 School Year. Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked on the outermost packaging or envelope with the name of bidder, name of project, bid number, and bid opening date and time. Submissions will be accepted prior to the Bid opening date via regular mail, registered mail or certified mail. Bidders are encouraged to submit their bids by certified mail or overnight delivery to avoid the need for hand delivery and for confirmation of bid delivery date. Bids forwarded by facsimile or email are not valid and will not be accepted. Submissions not fully responsive to the requirements of this Bid will not be considered. The Irvington Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in compliance with Public School Contract Law and other applicable laws. No bidder may withdraw bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening thereof. All Bids and contracts will be subject to the provisions of P.L. 1977, c.33 (C.52:25-24.2) requiring submission of a Statement of Corporate Ownership Regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders, Non-Collusion Affidavit, State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 concerning Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action. The Irvington Board of Education will host virtual bid openings until further notice. In order to be a participant, please provide a valid email address when requesting a bid document. ******The Board reserves the right to award the bid in total, partially or not at all.
