Remodeling of a municipal facility in Estes Park, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
The Riverside Public Restroom facility is one of the most heavily used in the Downtown. Built in 1974, consisting of 518sf, the current facility has a number of challenges related to ADA and location within the flood plain . This project proposes the relocation of the facility as new construction. Such a project would maximize customer experience, resolve ADA and floodplain issues and potentially be eligible for grant funding and from Visit Estes Park . The cost estimate includes design, demo, etc. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of February 09, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
