The Work includes the supply of labour, transport, materials, services, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the Work. Also included is all work of a general nature such as co-ordination, obtaining permits and approvals, clean-up, property protection and testing. In general without limiting the scope of the Work, the Contract consists of the supply and installation of approximately 360 lineal metres of 200mm diameter PVC watermain, 50 lineal metres of storm sewer, precast concrete structures (750mm to 1050mm Dia.), 475 lineal metres of concrete curb & gutter, 3100 tonnes asphalt concrete, cold milling, and site restoration. Specifications may be obtained from Dillon Consulting Limited, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST). Original tender documents will be issued in hard copy via courier or in person at 274 Sydney Street, Saint John, NB and an electronic copy of the tender package will be provided by email. The electronic copy is issued for information purposes only while the hard copy forms the official contract documents. A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Sussex, in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Tender Price (including HST) must accompany each Tender. Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton. Tenders will be opened publicly at the Town Office as soon after the Tender closing as possible. The Town of Sussex reserved the right to reject any and all Tenders and also reserves the right to no necessarily accept the lowest Tender. This project is cost shared by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure of the Province of New Brunswick under the Designated Highway Program and the Town of Sussex.
