Reference number: 1731635 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-06-21 The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for roof repair work at Habitations Du Carmel, located at 5180 rue Drolet, Montreal QC H2T 2H2, in the Borough of Le Plateau-Mont-Royal. The scope of work includes: o Replacement of the existing roof membrane with a modified bitumen membrane; o Replacement of the existing decking (plywood); o Addition of a support panel; o Replacement of existing drains; o Replacement of roof ventilators, position and quantity have been modified; o Replacement of vents; o Replacement of the mechanical outlet boxes for the dryer, hood and bathroom fan; o Replacement of existing flashings and counter-flashings with new pre-painted steel summer counter-flashings; o Construction and installation of support for multimedia equipment; o Replacement of the roofing membrane and the metal covering of the awning. The work will be carried out in a three-storey building which was built in 1989. It has 8 apartments. Its foundation is poured concrete and its structure is wooden. The outer envelope is made mainly of brick masonry. The roof is composed of membranes covered with gravel. The current membranes are original. During the works, the accommodation(s) will be occupied.
