Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Mint Hill, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Work generally includes clearing and grading, parking lot, concrete work, trail construction, fencing, electrical, and plumbing. If a contractor's bid is equal to or greater than $300,000.00, the contractor shall secure and post a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount. All such bonds shall be issued by a surety licensed to do business in North Carolina and acceptable to the Town. The Town of Mint Hill shall be named as the beneficiary. Cash bonds will not be accepted. Separate payments for performance and labor & materials payment bonds shall not be made This will be a formal bidding process, with an anticipated budget of $400,000 - $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contractors may submit questions directly to Justin Williams, EI, via email at jwilliams@admin.minthill.com. Questions must be received in writing by 5:00 PM June 21, 2023
