Site work for a water / sewer project in Yuba City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installing approximately 6,160 linear feet of 3-inch water service pipe, 3080 linear feet of 14-inch watermain, 3,470 linear feet of 12-inch watermain, and approximately 7,720 square feet of 2-inch road inlay. Time for Completion All work under this contract shall be completed within a maximum of Ninety (90) working days from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed as the date to start work. Liquidated Damages Should the Contractor fail to complete all work under the contract within the time provided therefor, he shall pay to the City the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) for each calendar day delay in finishing the work beyond such contract period The engineers estimate of the probable construction cost of the base bid work is $4,385,628 No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project.
