The Office of Legislative Management on behalf of the Connecticut General Assembly is soliciting proposals for window washing services at the Legislative Office Building (LOB) and Legislative Office Garage (LOG). The awarded respondent shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required to perform quality window cleaning of all exterior and interior glass of all windows and doors at the Legislative Office Building and the Legislative Office Garage (300 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT). The following is the Scope of Work that the CGA anticipates including in the Contract with the awarded respondent. .2.1 Exterior Windows, Exterior and Interior Surfaces The awarded respondent shall wash and clean the exterior and the interior surfaces of all window and door glass at the Legislative Office Building and Legislative Office Garage including but not limiting to: exterior and interior surfaces of all windows, doors, the atrium glass, the parking garage stairwell windows, and the skywalk. B.2.2 First Class Standard of Cleaning Exterior and the Interior Surfaces First Class standard of cleaning exterior and the interior surfaces includes, but is not limited to: a) Wiping and drying of all mullions and sills; b) Ensuring glass is free of all dirt, streaks, or wet rag markings around the edges of windows; c) Applying a solution of soap and water to all window surfaces and squeegeeing those windows dry; d) Wiping the edges of the window with a DRY rag to prevent any drips or streaking; and e) Reporting any damage to the CGA
