Remodeling of a municipal facility in Spencer, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
The scope of work includes membrane tear off and roof replacement on the Courthouse building along with gutters. The total roof area is approximately 3500 sqft. There are4 roofs at the corners of the building that are approximately 600sq.ft each., and a center roof area at the dome area that's approximately 800sq. ft. The existing roof to be torn off is a fastened EPDM on a plywood sheathing deck. The new roofing will be fully adhered EPDM roof membrane and will be pitched to allow for proper drainage with no ponding. All associated fascias will be removed and replaced with new prefinished metal trim. Gutters will include new perimeter flashings and terminations. Work includes replacing areas of damaged woodsheathing on roofs at Clay County Courthouse Building located 215 W 4th St., Spencer Iowa 51301
