Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Terrebonne, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a 75,600-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a 21,600-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Given that the North Crown of Montreal is affected by a significant demographic increase, the Government of Quebec plans to increase the number of students in the facility to 2,380 that will require, according to the standards in force, an increase in the building area of about 7,000 m2 net. The project also provides for the redevelopment of around 2,000 m2 of the existing spaces. TIMELINE: Project is preliminary and according to the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat classification is under study. The firm Provencher Roy + Associés architectes has completed a real estate analysis and concept confirmation for this major expansion and redevelopment project. Final project scope, timelines of the project implementation and construction budget are being finalized based of the data of the prepared report. Timelines of further project development are not determined pending the final scope and budget establishment. Further update in late 2026. Notes: - Professional consultant CGA has carried out preliminary conceptual studies for implementation of the project. - The project is included in the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat list of the projects with a value exceeding $50 million under the number 838.
