City of Hendersonville (Owner) is requesting sealed Bids for the construction of the following Project: BEARCAT BOULEVARD & CHURCH STREET SEWER REPLACEMENT City Project Number 19014 Bids for the construction of the Project. The City of Hendersonville Bearcat Boulevard & Church Street Sewer Replacement consists of gravity sewer rehabilitation and/or replacement along Church Street and Bearcat Boulevard. The gravity sewer replacement includes the installation of approximately 480 linear feet of 12" PVC sewer pipe, with an alternate section to pipe burst or open cut an additional 700 linear feet of 12" HDPE or PVC and DIP respectively. Also associated with the project, is to replace or install 8 manholes, or alternatively, 7 manholes and rehabilitate approximately 20 vertical feet of existing manhole structures, the abandonment of multiple sewer mains and manholes, and re-instatement of all active services. A NCDOT roadway contractor is expected be working in the vicinity of the North Church Street and North Main Street during the Bearcat Boulevard & Church Street Sewer Replacement project. Utility contractor shall coordinate all traffic control and other aspects of the work with the NCDOT contractor. Utility Contractor shall maintain two open travel lanes at all times. Parking lanes may be utilized as travel lanes during construction. If two travel lanes cannot be maintained, night work may be required. If less than three sealed bids are received at the time of bid opening, no bids will be opened.
