Interior Structural Improvements o Replace 24" manway gasket o Grind off weld spatter and erection scab marks below HWL o Install Submersible Mixer . Interior Wet Coating o Abrasive blast all reservoir surfaces o Coat all reservoir surfaces with zinc/epoxy system . Interior Dry Structural Improvements o Install new 18"x24" manway in drywell tube o Replace existing bowl drain valve o Replace light fixture on interior of dry riser o Temporarily remove insulation and aluminum jacketing from inlet pipe to facilitate abrasive blasting and painting of pipe. Reinstall after coating is complete. o Install openings with cover plates in the center of each of the two (2) platform floors, including condensate ceiling. o Relocate drain as required in condensate floor . Interior Dry Coating o Abrasive blast all reservoir surfaces o Coat all reservoir surfaces with zinc/epoxy system . Exterior Structural Improvements o Install anchor point on exterior (roof side) of drywell tube o Install separate aircraft warning obstruction light bracket next to hand rail o Remove existing light near vent and replace with double aviation light. Grind roof plate smooth at removed light bracket location. o Install weather proof plugs in unused antenna cable couplings on top of drywell tube. Plug holes or install bolts in holes in side of drywell tube. o Replace 24" diameter bolted access manway with 24" diameter hinge covered roof access manway. o Install one (1) 24" diameter hinge covered roof ventilation manway. o Replace existing handrail system with new pipe style handrail system in conformance with OSHA and AWWA regulations. o Clean debris from overflow pipe screen. . Exterior Coating o Abrasive blast (SSPC-SP-6) all reservoir surfaces o Coat all reservoir surfaces with zinc / epoxy / urethane / fluoropolymer system.
