Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fort Montgomery, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting bids for the "Tower Painting" project at the Bear Mountain Bridge. The scope of work involves spot cleaning and re-painting of the bridge towers. This bridge spans the Hudson River between Fort Montgomery and Peekskill, NY. All work shall include all maintenance and protection of traffic, access, furnishing and applying all painting, installing and removing approved screening/scaffolding and shielding above and below the roadway deck. Bid deposit: 25% bid bond or $500,000 certified or bank cashier's check is required to validate the proposer's bid. The apparent low Bidder shall present evidence of experience and financial stability. The Bidder shall comply with the terms of the Notice to Bidders, including Equal Employment Opportunity, M/WBE and SDVOB goals. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: October 31, 2024
