Renovation of a residential development in Bel Air, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Single family dwelling construction services SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Demolition and carting away the existing wooden steps leading from the concrete garage to the kitchen of the residence. 2. Provision of a temporary metal ramp with hand and guard rails to be installed for ingress/egress via the front door. The metal ramp shall stay in place until the VPL commissioning. The metal ramp shall be in place no longer than three months so scheduling and coordination with the VPL manufacturer and installer are of utmost importance. 3. Construction of a new 96" x 72" x 22" high wooden platform that will accommodate a space for the upper landing of an installed wheelchair Vertical platform Lift (VPL) as well as a wooden stair for other members of the household. 4. Supply, installation and commissioning of a wheelchair Vertical Platform Lift (VPL) with a maximum rise of 30" and a 36" fixed ramp at the VPL lower exit. 5. Supply, installation and commissioning of an automatic door opener on the existing 36" wide door that leads from the garage to the kitchen entrance. The automatic door opener shall be powered by an existing power socket in the kitchen. The power outlet used shall be identified and labeled on the existing house electrical distribution box. 6. Supply and installation of a fixed internal 48" x 1.0" x 12" wide interior rubberized threshold ramp.
