Site work for a pre-engineered storage facility in Penticton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The City of Penticton invites Proposals for the supply and installation of a fabric structure to store road salt. Design, supply, deliver, unload and install an engineer sealed foundation, frame and fabric cover (the Structure). The Structure will have blocks and walls on the short side and along the back leaving the front open for delivering and removing road salt. The specifications below are NOT firm but are to provide an indication of the City’s requirements. Supply certified professional engineer sealed drawings and Schedule Bs for four (4) level lock block foundation; Supply and install concrete lock blocks; Supply and install ¾” plywood on the inside of the lock block foundation to cover all blocks; Supply certified professional engineer drawings and Schedule Bs for Structure; Supply, deliver, unload and install engineer sealed frame and fabric cover between 35’ to 45’ wide by 50’ to 65’ long, minimum of 2,200 ft² Two (2) vents to be installed on the wide end of the Structure for ventilation; Structure must meet all BC Building Code 2018 requirements, City of Penticton bylaws and Province of BC Regulations; Provide all necessary hardware for installation; Manufacturer must be CSA A660-10 Certified and S-367 complaint; and Structure must be designed to meet snow load for the Penticton region.
