This courtesy posting is an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for Sandy City, not the Division of Purchasing. This solicitation posting will be canceled/closed upon the closing date of this solicitation; however, a vendor's response will still be evaluated by Sandy City as described in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing is neither the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, as such it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation in order to comply with any requirements. Sandy City is soliciting bids to supply 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch Bituminous Concrete Paving Material from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The pavement mix design must meet the current asphalt specifications set in section 02513 in the manual 'Sandy City Standard Specifications and Details for Municipal Construction' (latest edition), available at the office of the City Engineer. With the exception, this pavement mix will not require the use of Hydrated Lime. Sandy City will provide its own delivery transportation for the asphalt material. This product is to be available for Sandy City to be loaded at your facility at any time during the asphalt producing months or when the batch plant is open on an as needed basis. An estimated 6,000 tons will be needed. This project may be awarded to more than one vendor because of travel time to batch plant, plant delays, and availability of the required material when needed by City crews.
