This is a request for proposals to make the following repairs to the Recycling Center at the Town Transfer Station: o Replace the existing roof shingles with new asphalt shingles. The work must include removing and replacing any weak or rotted sheathing as necessary to protect the building's integrity. The asphalt shingles must be warranted by the manufacturer for at least 30 years. o Remove the corner boards, exterior window trim, and other exterior trim boards and replace them with Azek or equivalent non-wooden white trim material. o Paint the building - as a recycling center, green is an appropriate color. The building is L-shaped with two simple gable roofs. See the photographs below. You are encouraged to make your own measurements before submitting a proposal. Likewise, you are encouraged to inspect the roof before submitting a proposal. Please feel free to stop by the Transfer Station during working hours (M, W, Sat., 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) to look at the roof.
