The TAIT seeks an experienced qualified firm(s) to provide all material, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary forthe Riverside Taxiway Connectors - Phase 2 Project. The project involves the modification of Taxiway A1, reconstruction/realignment of Taxiways A2, A3 and A4, and the construction of Taxiway H generally consisting of asphalt pavement construction (approximately 4,400 tons), and relocating and installing new lighting, markings, and signage. The project work area is shown in detail on the plans and includes, in general, Taxiway A, A1, A2, A3, A4 and H on the Tulsa Riverside Airport. Note that the project has two bid schedules. Schedule A is considered a Base Bid and will consist of all work including Taxiway A4. Schedule B is considered a Deductive Bid and will consist of all work excluding Taxiway A4. All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, Bidder's Bond, or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to TAIT; and in the event TAIT shall award the contract to the bidder and the bidder shall fail, within fifteen (15) days from the making of such award, to enter into the contract and furnish the bonds and insurance as required, the amount of the certified check shall be retained by TAIT as liquidated damages; or, if a bid bond or letter of credit is submitted, the amount thereof shall then be immediately due and payable.
