Site work for a water / sewer project in Gloversville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves the replacement of municipal lead water services within the City of Gloversville. The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after the date the Contract Times commence to run and is subject to prevailing New York State wage rates, as well as the requirements for equal employment opportunity, all as described in the Contract Documents. The Gloversville Water Works reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informalities or technicality at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Gloversville Water Works, even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All bidders shall include a 5% bid bond and the selected contractor will be required to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds all as described within the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer (EEO), must meet all appropriate State and federal standards, and shall comply with all rules and regulations pertaining M/WBE requirements.
