Work of this Contract comprises of the remediation the Rural Municipality of St. Clements - MEMO Sites #9, #11, #12, #41, and #42. The overall work will consist of the following for each site: Site #9 consists of remediation of slope movements along the northern road embankment and ditch side slopes of Road 89N between Roads 45E and 46E. This work consists of a combination of rockfill shear keys, granular ribs, and a geogrid embankment reconstruction. The total length of Site #9 is 1.6 km. Site #11 consists of remediation of slope movements along the southern road embankment side slope of Ashfield Road between Floodway Drive and Kirkness Road. This work consists of the installation of a rockfill shear key and granular ribs. The total length of Site #11 is 300 m. Site #12 consists of remediation of slope movements along the southern road embankment side slope of Ludwick Road between Henderson Highway and Rebeck Road. This work consists of the installation of granular ribs. The total length of Site #12 is 55 m. Site #41 consists of the remediation of erosional damage and slope movements within the ditch immediately west of Old Henderson Highway, south of the town of East Selkirk. This work consists of slope regrading and placement of rockfill riprap material. The total length of Site #41 is 25 m. Site #42 consists of a large slope failure along the western side slope of the southern approach embankment of the Old Henderson Highway bridge over Cook's Creek. This work consists of a combination of a steel sheet pile wall along the northern portion of the slope failure and a granular fill toe berm installed along the southern portion of the slope failure. The total length of Site #42 is 35 m.
