Site work and new construction of a library in Terrebonne, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 43,200-square-foot, two-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.
Construction of a large library of nearly 4,000 square meters. This open and generous space will house numerous facilities, including a café, a collaborative manufacturing workshop, an industrial-style kitchen, virtual reality rooms, an art gallery and multi-purpose spaces. Various reading areas will be scattered inside the library as well as on the terrace and outdoor spaces. The project is expected to be located in the City near highway 640. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary and is included in the current ten-year Library Development Plan of the City. Preparation of a functional and technical program of the project was completed and the owner is finalizing the scope of work, project budget and timelines of further project development. Further update in mid-/late 2026. Note. Value of the project is not finalized and is an estimate.
