Site work and new construction of a library in Terrebonne, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 43,200-square-foot, two-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.
Construction of a large library of nearly 4,000 square meters. This open and generous space will house numerous facilities, including a café, a collaborative manufacturing workshop, an industrial-style kitchen, virtual reality rooms, an art gallery and multi-purpose spaces. Various reading areas will be scattered inside the library as well as on the terrace and outdoor spaces. The project is expected to be located in the City near highway 640. TIMELINE: The project is included in the current ten-year Library Development Plan of the City. The owner has awarded a professional consultant for the preparation of a functional and technical program of the project. Scope of work, exact location, budget and timelines of the project implementation are being finalized. Note. Value of the project is not finalized and is an estimate.
