The Town of Newbury is seeking qualified electrical contractors for a new public bathroom located at 31 Plum Island Blvd. o Proof of OSHA Training o Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates o All framing of interior is wood. No metal studs. o All lighting fixtures to be supplied by the Town of Newbury o Wiring needed for 40-gallon electric water heater (instead of tankless) o Each bathroom to have an electric hand dryer o Fire alarm panel to be installed by fire alarm Contractor Project Description: Conversion of existing single family house into public bathrooms for the town of Newbury. Removal of all interior partitions and creation of new. Sistering of existing roof rafters. Existing floor is slab on grade - new pump and trenching required for new plumbing. All new windows and doors, primarily in existing openings, but door to pump is a new opening
