Build one new High School for 1,785 students in grades 9-12 The building is to be approximately 284,204 SF with a total, co-funded budget of approximately $108.1 million (Master Plan). This project's master plan is based on a 2022 cost set. The project has the following allowances: o Storm Shelter (hardening 12,118 SF): $1,035,108 (the district is not opting for the storm shelter so the allowance has been withheld) o Emergency Responder Radio Coverage System for 284,204 SF: $332,518 (which is included in above) There is one (1) Abate/Demolition project that is part of the CMR Scope of Work: o Existing Brunswick High School: estimate budget of $3,221,708; approximately 331,547 existing square feet; to occur after the new High School is completed because the district is self-swinging. Anticipated discrete LFI's, which are not included in the Master Plan Budget Above, are: o Auditorium with 1,000 seats: $9,206,400.00 is the approximate budget. o High School full size Baseball Field (no lights, no dugouts): $750,000 is the approximate budget. o High School 1/2 Multipurpose Field with turf surface: $775,000 is the approximate budget. o High School Tennis Courts (6 courts with fencing/gates, no lights): $775,000 is the approximate budget. There are two (2) Abate/Demolition projects, managed by architect as GC work (not included in CMR Scope of Work): o Towslee Elementary School: estimate budget of $722,368; approximately 55,591 existing square feet. o Willetts Middle School: estimate budget of $734,369; approximately 76,470 existing square feet. o Abate/Demolition work for Towslee and Willetts will begin immediately following Project Agreement execution with an approximate demolition commencement of November 2023. This project will follow LEED v4.0 criteria and be registered for LEED v4.0 Silver. Should the AE team not be experienced in LEED v4.0, the AE is expected to hire a consultant that is qualified. The project will be designed in accordance with the Ohio Schools Design Manual. Contracting Authority has designated 24 months as a construction duration for the new high school building only.
