This Solicitation and All Applicable Attachments Are Restricted to MACC Holders ( N4008518d1149-53) Under the Design-build (DB)/design-bid-build (DBB), Indefinite-delivery/indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) New Construction, Renovation, Alteration, and Repair Projects in the Hampton Roads Integrated Product Team (IPT) the Area of Responsibility (AOR). The work includes Removal of existing roofing system, exterior wall and window panels, interior combustible wall construction, providing new roofing system, exterior insulated wall and window panels, metal stud and gypsum wallboard partition construction, exterior metal stairs, exterior doors and frames, HVAC system, electrical upgrades, fire pump, sprinkler and fire alarm systems, and incidental related work at building 278 Naval Station Shipyard Portsmouth VA. The northwest portion of Building 278 must be phased in a way to mitigate interruptions to ongoing classes. Work with building occupants and KO to establish a written phasing plan prior to commencement of work. In accordance with FAR 36.204(g), Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work, the duration of this task order shall be 540 calendar days from date of award (includes 15 calendar days for submission and approval of bonds and insurance). In accordance with FAR 52.228-1, Bid Guarantees, each offeror shall submit with its offer a guarantee bond (Standard Form 24) in a penal sum equal to at least 20 percent of the offer price or $3,000,000, whichever is less. Performance and Payment Bonds are required from the contract task order awardee ten (10) calendar days after date of award. Proposal Acceptance Period: Proposal acceptance period shall be 120 days from receipt of offers. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
