NG will require the successful Proponent to oversee the successful bidder’s construction work of the program from July 2 to December 31, 2023. Some of the key context information is provided, below: • The NG intends to provide a home repair program to provide general home repairs to Labrador Inuit residents in the 5 Inuit Communities of Nunatsiavut; • The NG has completed inspections of the homes of the Labrador Inuit who applied for repairs under the Program in 2021. Following the inspections, a total of 34 homes have been approved for repairs across the five Inuit Communities (the “Homes”). The NG has determined the scope of work required for the Homes through the inspections. • The number of homes to be repaired per Inuit community are as follows: o Rigolet – 3 Homes o Makkovik – 3 Homes o Postville – 8 Homes o Hopedale – 9 Homes o Nain – 11 Homes Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
