The Town of Betterton invites proposals from interested and qualified architecture and engineering design firms to perform the design and engineering duties required for the Reconstruction of Ericsson Avenue Project. This will include the design and engineering of the project per the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER), and Environmental Report (ER). Along with the compliance with funding agency requirements, and all associated work in accordance with the performance requirements of this RFP. The Ericsson Avenue Reconstruction will run the length of the thoroughfare from Howell Point Road to Main Street (approximately 2,700 feet). The reconstruction includes the replacement of sidewalks, certain storm drain features, and the existing water-and-sewer lines. The project includes, among other items, the removal of the existing concrete roadbed that underlies the existing asphalt surface.
