Renovation of a residential development in Newark, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be started within 60 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of project before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. Contractors will receive a response within 2 business days after the deadline for submitting questions. All questions and answers will be e-mailed to all contractors that attended the mandatory site visit. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 30 days after completion of project County(ies): Wayne 1. Price quote shall include all materials (GWB, paint, stain, necessary tools and accessories) and labor. 2. Remove the FRP that is laminated to the walls. 3. Install National Gypsum High Impact 5/8" type XP wall board over the existing GWB using liberal adhesive and 2-inch screws driven into the studs 4. "J" Channel will be necessary where the termination of the drywall does not butt to a wall or jamb cleanly. 5. The connection to the ceiling may be finished with 230 paintable caulk. There will not be any gaps, cracks or holes in these assemblies or their connections to the rest of the home. 6. Finish the drywall with spackle and tape according to manufacturer's specifications. 7. Paint, stain and other finishes must be a SHERWIN WILLIAMS product selected from the DDSO neutral colors list 8. Paint used on walls and trim must be a semi-gloss finish. 9. A clear satin low VOC coating to be applied to all-Natural Wood trim and doors if needed. 10. Any stains shall be primed, with a satin killing primer to prevent bleed-through of topcoat. 11. All surfaces shall have two (2) coats of paint minimum (prime and paint); three (3) or more if necessary, for complete coverage, same for varnish's if applicable. 12. Apply paints and stains by brush and roller only, per the manufacturer's written instructions. Use primer as recommended by manufacturer. 13. Use drop cloths to cover stationary furniture, flooring, appliances, etc. 14. See attached floor plan for work that needs to be addressed on a room-to-room basis. 15. Sprinkler heads, fire alarm pull stations, smoke detectors, and heat detectors must be free of any paint when the job is complete. 16. Remove and dispose of any empty cans, rags, rubbish, masking and other rubbish materials at the end of each workday. Debris will be removed from the jobsite by the contractor and disposed of properly 17.
