Project Category Code: Water and Wastewater Facilities, Demolition/Building Removal/Hauling/Salvage, Electrical and Controls, Lift Stations/Lift Station Equipment Description: The Project consists of the following: Miscellaneous demolition work and expansion of the existing wastewater treatment plant to include construction of a new screen manhole, influent lift station and valve vault, new sequencing batch reactor tanks, and an ultraviolet disinfection structure complete with associated mechanical piping, appurtenances and equipment. The existing aeration basin, clarifier and effluent structure will be converted to an equalization tank, sludge storage basin, and valve vault. A new outfall pipe will be constructed. Construction work will also include site improvements, yard piping, electrical and controls and other items of miscellaneous work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Additional Description: The Bidder shall be aware that this project is expected to be partially funded by the Idaho Community Development Block Grant Program and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The Bidder shall comply with the inserts bound in the specifications and submit the required forms with the bid including the American Iron and Steel requirements.
