This request is for informal bids in accordance with G.S. 143-131. The project is further described as follows and on the attached documents. PROJECT LOCATION: Multiple locations as listed here:
o Yates Store Road between Carpenter Fire Station Road and McCrimmon Parkway (NCDOT)
o Ederlee Drive adjacent to Symphony Lake (south of Regency Parkway) (NCDOT)
o Davis Drive @ Waldo Rood Boulevard (NCDOT) PROJECT SCHEDULE: This project is estimated to last no more than 60 working days and is expected to be completed in Summer 2023.
o Lake Pine Drive @ Kettlebridge Drive
o Heritage Pines Drive @ Louis Stephens Drive
o Highcroft Drive @ Trembath Lane
o Templeton Street @ East Chatham Street PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construct spot safety improvements as shown on the construction drawings, inclusive of pavement striping and signage. All improvements shall be constructed in accordance with Cary and NCDOT Standard Specifications and Details. The successful bidder will be required to: Prepare and implement a traffic control plan Install post-mounted traffic signage and pavement markings in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Comply with all requirements of the NCDOT Encroachment Contract for work within NCDOT right-of-way This project will be executed in accordance with the terms and conditions and using the Cary small construction agreement, a sample of which is attached for reference.
