As per the requirements of Section 6.8 of the 2015 National Fire Code of Canada (NFCC), interconnections between fire protection and life safety systems must be tested in accordance with CAN/ULC-S1001 "Integrated Systems Testing of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems" and all its revisions.
