Site work, paving and new construction of a multi-residential development in New Britain, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,019-square-foot, three-story above grade, 12-unit multi-residential development.
As of March 4, 2024, this project is waiting on closing from the funder. A general contractor has been awarded. Project scope includes but is not limited to site work and construction of two 3-story wood-framed multi-family buildings with concrete footings, foundation walls and concrete slab on grade. 16 Units. Selective site demolition, concrete, masonry, metals, wood trusses, rough and finish carpentry labor & material, insulation, asphalt shingles, doors, frames and hardware, vinyl windows, gypsum board, flooring, painting, toilet & bath accessories, signage, postal specialties, residential appliances, window shades, casework & countertops, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, final cleaning and sanitary facilities. The site was occupied by a series of medical office buildings. A majority of the buildings have been demolished to provide for Wheeler Health Care. The portion of one building remains and is to be demolished as part of this project, along with associated bituminous concrete parking areas and concrete sidewalks, utilities, etc. Project is Tax Exempt. No wage rate project.
