Renovation of a conference / convention center in Plano, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The City of Plano is soliciting a low bid to remove existing exterior doors and hardware and replace with new. Add an all new access control system to this facility. A BID BOND or a CASHIERS CHECK in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must be received by The City of Plano Purchasing Division prior to the published bid closing date/time. the City reserves the right to request clarification in such cases. The City of Plano, Texas is requesting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide exterior entry door improvements at the City of Plano's Event Center at 2000 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. The provided scope of work shall be in accordance with Bid Set Drawings and Specifications prepared by PGAL, Inc. The general scope includes but is not limited to provide new glass entry doors, glazing modifications, new door hardware and replacement of automatic door operators. Associated limited demolition of the existing doors and glazing as required to facilitate the scope of work. Security and technology for access control and door monitoring scope is shown in the security drawings.
