This specification describes the electrical services to be provided by the Contractor. Electrical services include, but are not limited to, the installation, maintenance, reconditioning, replacement, diagnostic evaluation, troubleshooting, operation, and repair of various electrical systems, as well as any related electrical work deemed necessary by the State Highway Administration. Electrical systems include, but are not limited to, electrical wiring, load studies, electrical service and distribution, ballasts, lamps, receptacles, outlets, conduits, junction boxes, electrical motors, fixtures, transformers, disconnect switches, transfer switches, 120 volts to 480 volts, single phase, three phase and any other electrical equipment as determined by the Administration. The Contractor must be able to perform the required electrical services from verbal instructions or written descriptions -State-certified, small business (not a veteran-owned or disable-veteran-owned small business) 5% -State-certified, veteran-owned small business 7% -State-certified, disable-veteran-owned small business 8% Written requests for information or questions shall be addressed to: Jim Flutka State Highway Administration District 4 Office 320 West Warren Road Hunt Valley, MD 21030 The Administration reserves the right to limit the number of persons performing the work as required. The Administration may, at its discretion, limit any personnel from performing service, require temporary or permanent removal of the employee from work being performed, or require additional training of personnel at no cost to the Administration.
